❔ SPRING FUN FACTS 📃

Did you know that the Easter season is actually 50 days long? Eastertide starts on Easter Sunday and lasts until Pentecost Sunday. Easter is a time of joy, coinciding with the arrival of Spring and symbolising new beginnings.  Easter Sunday is commemorated on the first Sunday after the full moon following the Spring equinox, between March 22 and April 25.

“Ne’er cast a clout till May is out” The overall meaning of the saying is that Spring weather can be changeable – warm and then cold, wet and then dry – so we should be prepared for everything and not lulled into the feeling that summer is upon us.

The month of May, according to the Gregorian calendar, is named after Maia―the goddess of springtime and growth. Historically, the gentle warmth of the month caused flowers to blossom, crops to sprout, and people to dance. May has many holiday occasions to celebrate so let’s enjoy a month of merriment ahead!

YVONNE’S NEXT HOLIDAY 🌞  30 May – 6 June 🏖️

I’m planning to hit the beach for a week in Sardinia come the end of May….flights permitting!!  I’ll be working until Saturday 28th May and return to work on Tuesday 7th June.  Please note there is already very limited availability throughout May.  It is wise to book your appointments well in advance.  If you need to cancel your appointments, you need to provide 24hrs notice. Rescheduling and cancellations occur most weeks and I do offer these slots to clients who wish a sooner appointment.  If you want added to the list at any time, please let me know.
